Alessio Albarello

I am a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Bobst Center for Peace and Justice at Princeton University. In 2024 I will join the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore as an Assistant Professor. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Rochester in 2023. I am interested in comparative politics, with a focus on electoral behavior, policymaking processes, democratic representation, and applied methodology.

Prior to graduate school, I was an elected public representative and party leader in District #8 in the Municipality of Trento, Italy. I also served in the Social Policy Committee and in the Environmental and Urban Planning Committee in the same district. I worked as a manager for a local government agency.
